ABOUT
Caroline Wettergreen er en av Norges mest ettertraktede sangere. Hun debuterte ved Den Norske Opera&Ballett i 2010, og jobber regelmessig ved operahus i Europa. De siste årene har hun debutert ved Komische Oper Berlin, Bayerische Staatsoper München, Royal Opera House Covent Garden og Glyndebourne Opera Festival. Caroline har studert ved Norges Musikkhøgskole i Oslo og Det Kongelige Danske Musikkonservatorium i København. I 2018 mottok Caroline det pretisjetunge Equinor Klassisk Musikkstipend.

In Massenet’s stratospheric notation her Fairy character is less a Godmother than a Queen of the Night, and the young Norwegian pinged a magical coloratura with preternatural accuracy. Caroline started off her season with another trip to Bayerische Staatsoper, singing Zerbinetta in a staged version, conducted by Daniele Rustioni.
